3. Use neutral detergent: Use a neutral detergent and avoid using bleach or whitening agents, as they can damage the color and texture of the linen fibers.
4. Avoid soaking for too long: After washing, rinse the linen fabric thoroughly and do not leave it soaking for an extended period.
5. No machine wash or tumble dry: Linen fabric should not be machine washed or tumble dried. Use a clean towel or cheesecloth to remove excess water and then air dry naturally.
6. Sun protection: Linen fabric is prone to yellowing and becoming brittle with prolonged exposure to sunlight. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and store the fabric in a cool and ventilated area.
7. Proper ironing: When ironing linen fabric, use a medium or low heat setting and preferably place a damp cloth over the fabric to prevent direct contact and potential damage to the fibers.
